Liberal Culture in Crisis, infested with the cancer of hypocrisy

“I’d rather be excluded for who I include than included for who I exclude”

Those words are from a meme, a meme that has been making the rounds…making the rounds of all the social media outlets that preach to the liberal choir.

We will explore that meme in depth in this article entitled “Liberal Culture in Crisis, infested with the cancer of hypocrisy”.
An opinion piece by a Reasonable Man

Fine words, those. Fine words indeed.
But those are words unfortunately that do not reflect the reality of the liberal thought today.

In spite of claims to the contrary the liberal community does NOT welcome a diversity of opinion.
The liberal community in fact routinely EXCLUDES any person who does NOT tow the line, does NOT sing with the liberal choir. The average liberal rejects any opinions that express a view of life that that hurts the little feelings of the political left and forces the members of the political left to think outside of their little comfort zones.
In short, this meme is hypocrisy of the highest order.

(Insert quote from a liberal who disagrees. We will call her “Lori”)

We here at culturesincrisis.com don’t entirely disagree with you, Lori.
But we are saying that is a sword that cuts both ways.
Just as reasonable people have an obligation to call out opinions they don’t agree with when presented by the “conservative” community, so too do reasonable people have an obligation to call out opinions they don’t agree with when presented by the liberal community.
And yet members of the liberal community almost universally believe this be a one-way Street. Your average Democrat/liberal will tell you that the half-truths, distortions and outright lies presented by the conservative community should be targeted and then eliminated from public discourse.
That ONLY those “conservative” half-truths, distortions and outright lies deserve our scorn and condemnation.

The half-truths, distortions and outright lies presented by the liberal community by contrast should be accepted at face value.
Not only accepted but spread far and wide and accorded as much credibility as the word of the Living God Himself.
At least that’s what those on our political left community believe.

Reasonable people would not agree with that.
Reasonable people would argue that that half-truths, distortions and outright lies should be called out by all decent and TRUE Americans REGARDLESS of the source.

In the course of debating this issue (in another forum) another liberal, (we will call him “Kevin” for the sake of this article) opined thusly:

“Bigotry isn’t an opinion”

There’s some truth to what “Kevin” says.
But then that all depends on how one defines “bigotry”.
At a pop-up BLM rally several years ago it was reported that a broadcast television news photographer
(one I know personally, by the way) had his head bisected by a baseball bat in the hands of one of the participants in that rally.
He was left bleeding in the street while over 200 participants stepped over and around him to continue their march.
Not a single individual, not ONE, offered to render aid.
The reason the kid had his head bisected by that baseball bat was because he was a white.

Now, is that an example of bigotry? Or, did the kid have it coming.

Stay tuned.
This article is a work in progress and as the days and weeks go by we here at culturesincrisis.com will be refining this article, providing additional information.
This is not the final form, only a taste of what is to come and it is a tasty morsel indeed.

  1. Compelling narrative but I wish you would have waited until the article was finished before you posted it
